Mend and Stitch

Saturday 5th April

10am – 1pm

This short course will give you the skills and confidence to mend and embellish your own clothes.

Mending is a mindful way to extend the use of garments, save them from landfill, save you some money and showcase your creativity and individuality.

Your tutor, Sarah from Helyk homesteading, will guide you through the skills needed to add a patch and darn a hole.

All stitching materials are provided – you just need to bring along a garment, such as a pair of trousers that needs a patch, and a garment, such as a woolly jumper or a sock, that needs darning.
