Children’s Parties

The Art Room offers creative parties for groups of young people from the age of 5 upwards.
Parties are two hours long and centred on a fun, creative activity. The Art Room is a bright, inviting place to be and we add balloons, bunting and banners for parties. If you would like to share a Spotify playlist with us we can play your favourite music too.
What happens at an Art Room party?
The tables are set up ready for your arrival. When your guests have been welcomed your chosen activity can start. The creativity continues for around an hour then we have a refreshment break and continue afterwards with either the same activity or a fun drawing task to finish off. This is the general idea, but we like to keep things flexible and follow what the children want to do rather than make them stick to rules.
We can cater for up to 20 children, depending on age and the activity. Prices from £150 for up to 10 children with an extra £10 per person for up to 10 more. Birthday cakes and snacks will need to be arranged by parents if required.

What food options are available?
We are more than happy for you to bring your own food or snacks for the party, and can have a table ready for them if you choose. We have a kitchen with a fridge, a microwave, two sinks, a kettle and a tea urn and you are welcome to help yourself to tea and coffee from the kitchen. We no longer offer catering ourselves as we prefer to devote as much of the two hours as possible to creativity!
