Carve Club – Norwegian Christmas
Carve Club is a relaxed, monthly lino session focused on slowing down and getting absorbed in the rhythmic, meditative process of carving and printmaking. You’ll learn traditional carving techniques, mark-making, and ways to develop your own visual language. Each month explores a different theme, using the work of well-known lino printmakers as inspiration. Erin from Pick Pretty Paints will guide you through tools and techniques while encouraging experimentation and personal expression.
November 29th – Norwegian Christmas
This session is all about Christmas. Creating festive stamps inspired by 2D & 3D Scandinavian designs. Templates and traditional shapes (like the selburse eight pointed star) will be on hand to create printed work which can be constructed into bunting or decorations. A tradition in Norway to adorn the home and a beautiful way to end the carve club year.
