Art Room for Kids
A place for children to explore, experiment, and express themselves.
At The Art Room in Redruth, we give young people the space, materials, and encouragement to create in their own way. From after-school art clubs to holiday sessions and birthday parties, our activities are relaxed, hands-on, and full of imagination.
Whether your child loves painting, making, and inventing or is simply curious to try something new, they’ll find a warm welcome here.
Family Creative Studio
Family Creative Studio is a relaxed, hosted creative session for adults and children to spend time making things together in The Art Room. Tickets are for one adult & one child, but a limited number of additional child spaces are available when booking. We want to keep the space relaxed for you as well as your young artist.
School Holiday Sessions
During school breaks, we run creative holiday workshops for young people and families. Expect a mix of guided activities, imaginative projects, and time to simply make and play in our bright and welcoming space.
Children’s Parties
Our Art Room parties are two hours of creative fun for ages 5+, with activities tailored to your child’s interests – from clay heads and graffiti-style tags to screen printing, comic drawing, and more. We set up everything, provide a colourful party atmosphere with bunting and balloons, and make sure there’s plenty of time for making, music, and laughter.
Parties start from £180 for up to 10 children (plus £10 per extra guest, up to 20 children). Parents can bring their own food and cake – we’ll have the table ready.
The Art Room is here to spark curiosity, nurture creativity, and let kids be kids – messy, imaginative, and completely themselves.
