Booking Terms and Conditions
Please note that if you need to cancel a booked session, your payment cannot be refunded unless we are able to fill your space, so please do give us plenty of notice.
These terms apply to all classes and workshops held at The Art Room, whether run by the owner (Tina) or guest tutors. By booking a place, you agree to the following:
1. Booking and Payment
- All bookings are made online via our booking system.
- Full payment is required at the time of booking.
- Payments are processed securely by card through Stripe.
2. Cancellations by You
- If you need to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible.
- Cancellations made 7 days or more before the event may be credited towards a future session as an Art Room voucher, valid for one year.
- Cancellations made with less than 7 days’ notice, and “no shows”, cannot be refunded or credited.
3. Cancellations by Us
- If we need to cancel or reschedule a class, you will be offered either a full refund or the option to transfer to another date.
4. Minimum Numbers
- Some classes require a minimum number of bookings to run. If this number is not met, we may contact you to offer a rescheduled date or a refund.
5. Transferring Your Place
- If you can’t attend, you may send someone else in your place, but please contact us first to confirm.
6. Age Restrictions
- Classes advertised as “Adult” are for adults only.
- Classes for children will clearly state the age range.
- A paying adult is welcome to accompany a child if they wish.
7. Safety and Personal Belongings
- Participants take part at their own risk and must follow all safety instructions given by the tutor.
- We are not responsible for loss of, or damage to, personal belongings brought to The Art Room.
8. Photography
- We sometimes take photos during sessions for social media or promotional use.
- If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform the person running the class before the session begins.
9. Accessibility
- The Art Room has a ramp to the door and an accessible toilet.
- Please contact us if you have specific accessibility needs so we can do our best to accommodate you.
10. Contact Details and Privacy
- Your contact details will be used for booking administration and, if you have given consent, for email marketing about future events.
- You can opt out of marketing at any time by letting us know.
