Wet Felted Christmas Stockings

Working with the excellent Sam Tancock you’ll turn beautiful coloured wool fibres into a festive heirloom using soap, water and elbow grease. Sam will show how to shape, felt and shrink the wool to create a sturdy fabric, then add colour and simple details to personalise your stocking.

The process involves working with warm water and soap to encourage the fibres to felt together, with plenty of opportunity to experiment with colour, texture and pattern. You will be guided through each stage and will leave with a finished stocking ready to hang up at Christmas.

The session is suitable for beginners and all materials are provided.
