Hoop Screen Printing

Discover the basics of screen printing; a simple and versatile process where ink is pushed through a fine mesh to create printed designs. In this workshop, you’ll explore an accessible, low-tech approach using screen printing mesh held in an embroidery hoop, making it easy to create small prints while learning how the process works.

Printmaker and author Erin from Pick Pretty Paints will guide you through making your own hoop screen and printing your own design. She also makes her own environmentally friendly inks, which you’ll use throughout the session.

All materials are provided, and each participant will receive a print pack along with a finished fabric wall hanging to take home.
