This deposit secures your chosen party date and time. Full details of how our parties run, plus the range of creative activities you can choose from, can be found here

Please note: our parties are very popular, so deposits are non-refundable if you decide to cancel or change your booking.

What you need to know

• Group size – there is no minimum group size, but we do charge for a minimum of 10 guests to make the party viable. We can host up to 20 guests (depending on the chosen activity).

• Age requirements – We can cater for children from 5 and up.

• What’s included (materials, decorations, party host, set-up/clean-up, etc.). The cost of our parties includes set up & tidy up of the Art Room, a friendly host, all the materials, decorations and free tea/coffee for adults.

• Duration – parties go on for two hours.

• Cost – parties are £18 a head for up to 10 guests (minimum), and £10 a head for all extra guests. The balance can be paid either in advance by bank transfer, or on the day with a card reader.

• Food & drink – Feel free to bring snacks and a cake, and if required a table can be put aside for the guests to help themselves. There is also a minimally equipped kitchen at your disposal.

• Custom themes – For an extra £30 we can tailor a themed activity to your child’s interests. Please contact Tina at the email below to discuss.

• Parking or accessibility info – The Art Room is wheelchair accessible and there is an accessible loo. Please do let us know in advance if we need to ensure ease of movement in the main space so we can arrange the furniture accordingly.

• Parents & guardians – we do prefer most adults (other than the birthday child’s family) to leave their children at the party as we do not have a lot of spare seating. On a Saturday there is a good coffe shop next door to the Art Room and on Sundays the cinema cafe opposite is open.
• What happens after paying the deposit? (after the deposit is paid your date is secure and we will be in touch to discuss the details of your party. We will need to know your chosen activity, how many guests to expect and the age group and the name of the birthday child (if applicable).
